SONIC RENAISSANCE #3

31.10.2025

Metabolismo Lagunare continues its evolution, descending into the heart of Venice to join forces with one of its most iconic autonomous spaces: Laboratorio Occupato Morion. A convergence where raw energy meets collective memory, and sharing becomes both resistance and celebration. Cilloman opens the Sonic Renaissance with a deep and magnetic flow of glowing atmospheres. Radioactive Man, co-founder of Two Lone Swordsmen with Andrew Weatherall, brings decades of underground legacy across acid, electro and machine funk. Uabos closes with intensity and precision, shaping a final act of pure solid electro voltage.

Metabolismo Lagunare is a project that explores the connection between electronic music, community, and the history of the natural and industrial landscapes of the Venetian area. The project was born primarily as a response to a need: the lack of a space where underground ideas, projects, and visions could be fully realized. Metabolismo involves extensive research and a strong desire to immerse oneself in the local area - to walk through and discover numerous places rich in history, many of which have unfortunately been neglected. Porto Marghera, for example, is a historic symbol of the rebirth of both the commercial and social life of this region. Metabolismo comes from a pulse of movement, from an organism that constantly reinvents itself, continually moving to stay in balance with itself and survive, always seeking new sources of energy. Lagunare refers to the vast territory of the Venetian lagoon, which is not just Venice, but much more - a region full of places and contexts that are still vastly undervalued.
