Metabolismo Lagunare operates as a process: a living adaptive organism that responds to its context by absorbing historical, social, and environmental layers energies and rearticulating them through collective experiences, site responsive events, and moments of collective awareness. The project understands metabolism as a condition of continuous transformation, where territory acts as an active agent, electronic, experimental, and club oriented music functions as a tool for critical listening for reading the present and as a medium of connection and the audience is understood not as a consumer but as part of a temporary social ecology ecosystem.
Working between memory and future imaginaries, Metabolismo Lagunare activates marginal and disused sites, cultivating dialogue between underground cultures, DIY methodologies, and forms of social and environmental responsibility, particularly in the Porto Marghera area. Within the fragile and stratified ecology of the lagoon, sound and artistic practices take shape as means of connection and relational practices, capable of generating a shared language and temporary forms of presence, coexistence, and community.
